Summer 2026 Items

Summer Event 2026 added a fresh loot layer to Murder Mystery 2: box-chase Icecream, paid Beachy and Sands Godlies, the Ocean weapon effect, and Chroma variants that dominate trade chat. This page explains how each item is obtained, what families should expect to spend, and how demand behaves before August 23, 2026. Cosmetics only — read How to Play if you are new to roles.

Icecream and Summer Box ‘26

Summer Box ‘26 is the seasonal crate during the event. Opens cost 120 Shells (quest currency) or 60 Gems as a premium shortcut. The headline chase is the Icecream Godly knife — ice-cream cone handle with multicolor blade styling that players call one of the coolest recent Godlies.

Community unboxing math often cites roughly 0.2% Godly rate per box (about 1 in 500 on average) for Godly-tier pulls — not a guarantee. Chroma Icecream is far rarer; treat it as a lottery win, not a planned daily drop.

Grind Shells via coin quests in Summer Event guide. Do not buy shady “box luck scripts” — Scripts safety.

Beach Bundle — Beachy, Sands, Ocean

The Beach Bundle costs 3,399 Robux and includes:

  • Beachy Godly knife (sand, water, starfish guard styling)
  • Sands Godly gun (matching beach / seashell tip design)
  • Ocean weapon effect exclusive to the bundle

Each weapon can also be bought separately for 1,699 Robux via its gamepass. Chroma versions of Beachy and Sands can roll on purchase but are not guaranteed.

Parents: set Robux caps before kids open the shop. Bundles are optional flex — rounds stay fair without them.

Event reward track

Summer 2026 includes an event reward track tied to opening Summer Boxes and completing quest categories (daily, weekly, and event milestones). Track rewards can include emotes and effects for sustained participation — exact slots confirm in-game. This is the free-leaning path beside Robux bundles.

Weekly quests refresh on a Thursday schedule in community notes (daily/weekly reset around 8:00 AM UTC). Stack weeklies when you have parent-approved play time.

Trading summer items

After unboxing or buying:

  1. Write down exact item names (Icecream vs similarly styled commons).
  2. Wait a day before mega-trades — launch-week hype swings hard.
  3. Use Trade Checker and Demand Explained.
  4. Never trust “I’ll add Chroma Icecream in the next trade.”

Post-event, many summer exclusives become trading-only for players who missed the window — expect demand shifts after August 23.

Icecream vs Beachy — which is “better”?

Wrong question for gameplay — both are cosmetic. For collecting:

  • Icecream proves box grind luck or patience; Chroma Icecream is flex tier.
  • Beachy / Sands prove Robux spend or later trade wealth; complete sets photograph well in the summer lobby.

Kids should pick the item they like visually, not the one a stranger says is “meta.”

Dupes and inventory hygiene

Keep one favorite summer piece untraded as a memory item. Trade duplicates only after value research. Store screenshots of special unboxes — support cannot restore sentimental clicks.

Summer items are souvenirs of a live window — chase one or two favorites, then keep practicing roles that actually win rounds.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How do you get Icecream in MM2?

Unbox it from Summer Box '26 during Summer Event 2026. Each open costs 120 Shells or 60 Gems. There is no direct Robux single purchase for Icecream.

How much is the Beach Bundle?

Community reporting lists 3,399 Robux for the full bundle with Beachy, Sands, and Ocean effect. Individual gamepasses are 1,699 Robux each.

Can you still get summer items after August 23?

The event shop and Shell earning typically close. Items already owned stay in inventory; others often must be obtained through trading afterward.

Is Chroma Icecream guaranteed?

No. It is an ultra-rare box pull. Treat it like a bonus, not a plan.

Do summer Godlies make you stronger?

No. All are cosmetics. Skill and positioning win rounds — see How to Play.
